Georgian Sumo wrestlers’ competing at the first super tournament of a year, which is underway in the capital of Japan, Tokyo cannot be called successful. Tochinoshini, Kokai and Gagamaru held 6 matches at Hatsu Basho and won only one fight.
On the second day of January’s tournament which is underway in “Riogoku Kokugikan” lost three of the players. 23-year-old Tochinoshini the same Levan Gorgadze East Maegashira #2 injured shoulder while competing against Ozeki Harumafuji and wrestled against Sekiwake Kotoshiguk a bit injured and lost.
29-year-old Levan Tsaguria pioneer of Georgian Sumo the same Kokai Shikona lost with 36-year-old ex-sekiwake Tochinonadan.  He competes at this tournament as Maegashira #15 and if he does not have positive balance will be retreated in the second division of Zurio.
Gagamaru the heaviest Sumo wrestler of Makuuchi (198) the same Sekitor Teimuraz Jugheli lost first time. He lost with Asasekiriu Maegashira #5. He has one loose-win and his next rival is Tosaiutaka Maegashira #3. They have met each other three times and Gagamaru has won twice.
Tochinoshini will hold difficult match against Japanese Ozeki Kayo. Georgian Sumo wrestler won twice from 6 matches over 38-year-old sekitor within a year. Kokai will try to beat Vakakoyu, who has not lost any fight at Hatsu Basho yet.

9 Sekitors are leaders of Hatsu Basho. Yokozuna Hakuho, Ozeki Harumafuji and Sekiwake Kotoshogiku are among those leaders. The first tournament of a year lasts for 15 days as usual and finishes on January 23.
