The official web-site of International judo federation has published new ranking of world, Only those sportsmen who wrestled at Alma-Ata World Cup have some changes in ranking. Three members of Georgian national judo team wrestled at Kazakh tournament, but none of them achieved any success and lost chance of progressing in ranking.
Amiran Papinashvili (60 kg) the most ranking member of Georgian national judo team regressed to the sixth place from five. Varlam Liparteliani (90 kg) is in the 13th place as well as Levan Zhorzholiani (100 kg), but the difference between them is that Zhorzholiani was in the same place before World Masters, but Liparteliani was in the 12th place. There is one more Georgian sportsman in top 20 – Irakli Tsirekidze (100 kg), he missed World Masters due to injury.

Champion-prize winner of Grand Prix gains 200, 120 and 80 points. Gold medal winner of World Cup earns 100 points, silver – 60 and bronze- 40 points. Champions and prize winners of European championship gain 180, 108 and 72 points.
