Aleksey Goikhman the President of “Volga” Nizhny Novgorod does not worry about plurality of Georgians in the club.
“I will not get tired of repeating that Nationality does not mean anything for us. First of all we search players, which will strengthen the club. Nowadays, Georgian players which are being tested and will be chosen will satisfy. In the last season Georgian players proved that they deserve playing in “Volga”. Selection process has not finished yet and maybe somebody leaves, but new players will not be selected by their nationalities”- stated Goikhman in a talk with club’s official web-site, who has arrived in Turkey for attending preparation of “Volga”.  
Omar Tetradze is head coach of “Volga” and there are the following Georgian players in the club: Otar Martsvaladze, Gocha Khojava, Giorgi Navalovski, Edik Sajaia, Gogita Gogua, Mate Vatsadze and Gia Grigalava.
