Georgian national basketball team held a friendly match against Austria and lost 56:64. According to the agreement of both sides, the teams played additional 15 minutes and Georgians won it, though, the score of the main time was counted. We contacted Davit Ustiashvili, assistant of the team head coach, in Austria.

- How was the match held?

- We did not pay attention to the score. Our goal was to estimate forms of basketball players and other important details.

- Why was poor score?

- Perhaps because that both teams paid attention to defense. Final score was not poor because after the match we agreed to play other 15 minutes. Considering this time, we won with 2 points though I repeat we did not pay attention to the score. This match was like training.

- You have another sparring-match against Austria today…

- This is an official match. Unlike the previous match, spectators will attend this match. The match will be held in Baden. Tickets are sold and price is 5 EUR.

- On what form are candidates of the team?

- They are on satisfying form. Manuchar Markoishvili will play in this match or in the next friendly one.
