A 33-year-old Georgian midfielder Davit Mujiri signed contract with “Sanfrecce” Hiroshima of Japanese J. League – this is the information of the club website. “Mumu” has been in Japan for more than one month and it was decided that he would stay in “Sanfrecce” Hiroshima.
Mujiri has already held several test matches of “Sanfrecce” and scored 2 goals.
Davit is the first Georgian football player who will play in Japanese J. League. He played for “Dinamo” Tbilisi (1994-1998, 2010), Moldovan “Sheriff” (1999-2001), Austrian “Sturm” (2001-2005), Russian “Krylia” (2005-2008) and “Lokomotive” Moscow (2008-2009). Mujiri has held 26 matches in Georgian national team and scored one goal.
Mujiri will play for “Sanfrecce” Hiroshima with jersey No.10.
