There is a big chance that Georgian basketball player Viktor Sanikidze may become member of the best Italian club “Montepaschi”. As the Italian agency informs the Georgian and Petteri Koponen of Finland has played for the “Canadian Solar Bologna” for the last time.

“Montepaschi” offered the Georgian (“Air Georgia”) 3-year contract. Contract of Sanikidze with the Bologna club is expiring. He had the best season in Serie A: his average result was 12.0 points and 10.9 rebounds in 30 games.

Sportando.net informs that “Montepaschi” is interested in Sanikidze and this issue will be decided in 10-15 days when season will end up in European leagues.
