Mikadze - Lucky Loser

Tatia Mikadze 22-year-old tennis player lost in qualifying round of Open Gdf Suez De L’isere, which is underway in the city of France, Grenoble.  But she appeared in the main wrap as “lucky looser” and won over ranked #6 rival.
Mikadze ranked #15 won over French Estelle Cascino 6:3, 6:3 and then lost with Croatian Ivana Lisjak 1:6, 6:4, 2:6. One of the participants refused participation in the tournament and she continued competing as “lucky looser” and she used it very well.
 She had difficult match against Italian Anne Florine ranked #6 and managed to beat rival who is on the 165th place in WTA rating 7:6, 3:6, 3:6.
Maka Chakhnashvili and Sopho Shapatava have not played the first matches of the main wrap yet. Chakhnashvili ranked #5 won over Russian Elena Kulikova (1:6, 6:3, 6:1) and French Stephanie Vongsouthi (4:6, 6:3, 6:3), her next rival is Florence Haring.
Shapatava ranked #12 won over Victoria Larriere 6:3, 6:3 and then beat easily British Melanie South – 6:3, 6:2. Her rival in main wrap is Julia Coin.
Only Mikadze and Shapatava compete in couple’s tournament. Their next rival duet is British O’brien and Romanian Ungur.
