17-year-old Georgian tennis player Aleksandre Metreveli ended up participation in semifinals of singles and doubles tournaments at Open d'Istres Ouest Provence 2011.
In singles tournament, Georgian tennis player played against No.7 seed Serbian Miki Jankovic and lost 4:6, 6:2, 0:6. In doubles tournament, Metreveli and Japanese Kishi lost against German-Polish duet (Elias-Smola) 6:7 (5:7), 6:7 (5:7).
Metreveli has 276.25 points and is in the 91st place in ranking. But after successful competition in Istres he will advance in ranking.
