"Metallurg" Plays Away Matches Better

 

As it seems, “Metallurg” Rustavi plays away matches better than home ones. At the first stage, “Metallurg” played home match of the second stage of Europa League 1:1 but the team won away match 2:0 and is through the next stage.

After the first match, Georgian fans were not optimistic because “Metallurg” could not win home match. The team of Armaz Jeladze improved the situation in the second match. “Metallurg” won the first half with the goal of Irakli Kobalia which he scored at the 23rd minute. Kazakhs tried to equalize score in the first half but could not manage to do it.

Irakli Modebadze scored the second goal at the beginning of the second half and Georgians advanced again. “Irtysh” needed to score 3 goals. Kazakh players could not score goal and “Metallurg” went through the next stage.

At the third stage, “Metallurg” will play against “Reni”. On July 28, the teams will play in Rustavi and on August 4 – in Reni.
