Meri Arabidze is competing successfully in Men’s and Women’s Georgian U-18 Chess Championship which is underway in Vera Park. Meri won 4 matches in a row and is a leader. Lika Kobeshavidze is a half point behind Meri. In the 5th round, Arabidze and Kobeshavidze will play against each other.
Unlike girls, quartet of Zurab Javakhadze, Nodar Lortkipanidze, Kakhaber Tsereteli and Irakli Beradze is leading the championship. They have 3,5-3,5 points. In the 5th round, Javakhadze will play against Tsereteli and Lortkipanidze – against Beridze.
