Bolnisi "Sioni" which is a member of supreme league became the 9th club belonging to a private trader. "Madneuli" company, owner of Kazreti gold mines, will spend one million GEL a year on the club which took the sixth place in the football season last year. According to the information of "World Sport", Giorgi Arevadze, former governor of Bolnisi and current consultant of Ltd "Kvartsiti", will be a president of "Sioni" club. Though he introduced himself in other way during our telephone conversation.
- Mr. Giorgi, so government does not care of "Sioni". Can you tell us who is its owner?
- This is Ltd. "Bolnisi" and Zviad Khurtsilava is its director.
- What is your position in a newly formed club?
- I do not have any position, I am just Giorgi Arevadze.
- So you do not have any connection with the club.
- I only have friendship and good memories, I wish it good perspectives.
- Maybe the issue about coach has already been decided.
- Giorgi Kipshidze is appointed as a coach.
- According to the last information, Giorgi Kipiani was said to be appointed on the position.
- Kipiani does not have a right to work as a coach, he does not have a license. He will try to pass some courses due to law and we will see what will be in future.
- Will he work in the club before getting license A?
- Kipiani will be in the club and will work as an assistant of Kipshidze.
- As we know, because of some misunderstandings, footballers of "Sioni" are playing in other clubs.
