Management of “Maccabi” Tel-Aviv has officially confirmed that the team is holding negotiations with Giorgi Shermadini, center of Italian “Bennet Cantu” and Georgian national basketball team. According to the Italian press, 23-year-old Georgian basketball player is to substitute Richard Hendrix of America who refuses to sign a new contract. If this deal is done, “Maccabi” will sign 2-year contract with Shermadini. David Logan of America is another aim of David Blatt’s team. Logan is a citizen of Poland and is playing for “Panathinaikos” Athens, former team of Shermadini.
