Georgian footballer Luka Khomasuridze plays in Athen “Trasivopulos”, this team is in Ethnic B of Greece. As for Khomasuridze he is 22 year-old and plays as midfielder. There were written about this footballer before but not rare, while he has already being played in this team more then 4 years. “World Sport” connected him in Athen, this talk was more interesting because of Georgia-Greece match, which will be held in September 3 in Greece.
Khomasuridze stated: “Georgia will not lose. I believe in Ketsbaia. As for me I have already bought tickets for this match and will support to our team much”.
- First of all, what can you say about your Greek career?
- I came here from “Wit-Georgia”. At the beginning was training in 35 Football School with Tariel Kandelaki, then was in “Wit-Georgia” reserves and after 6 months left for Athen.I was 17-year-old then. “Trasivopulos” was in Supreme League of Greece and I was playing in club’s doubles and within one season scored 7 goals. When “Trasivopulos” left from League I had to play in the main staff. My agreement with this club exires in 2014 but I want to change club this year.
-  Why?
- Ethnic B is not strong league, but I do not have any problem connected with playing. I had waist problems but I treated and due to it I was not playing much. The main reason is that, legionaries are limited here, only footballers from two no-membering countries of European Union have right to be in the field and I am citizen of Georgia and have not got citizenship of Greece.
- Was not there any interest from Georgian age teams to you?
- No. there was not and I am not surprised. During my career nobody has ever helped me, Georgians also did not know that there was playing Georgian in “Trasivopolus”.  It is difficult when you are alone. You should be better minimum twice to local footballers that to be preferred to another. Especially then when you are stranger, from such country, which is not member of European Union.
- You are going to leave this team, have you got any proposal?
-  I hope will be. My club accepted to hire me. If they sell would be better.
-  Do you often arrive in Georgia?
- Yes, I do. But I cannot arrive very often. I have information about Georgian teams. When I arrive I sometimes watch matches of championship.
-  How you can compare Greek Ethnic B and our Supreme League?
- “Dinamo”, “Zestaponi”, “Wit-Georgia” and “Olimp” are better than Ethnic teams, but cannot estimate others. If u minus these teams Ethnik B is quite strong. So, average level is higher here than in Georgia.
-  Will you attend Georgia-Greece match in September 3?
- I am looking forward to this match. Of course I will attend, I have to support to our team like a mad. About 500 Georgians will attend to this match. I have already bought ticket.
- How much does ticket coast?
- The cheapest is 20 EUR.
- Recently, I have seen in Greek forum, all of them are talking about match against Croatia in September 7 as if they do not have match against Georgia. Does Greek press also have such attitude to Georgian National team?
- Of course they are sure that they will win, but I have another presentiment. I believe in Ketsbaia, he will offer surprise to Greeks and will win or will not lose.
- What makes you to say it?
- Greece National Team has not such level as it seems. It is fact that they play with good tactic and without mistakes, but they do not have any fantasy.
- They will be hostile to Ketsbaia, will not they?

- Yes, they will. Fans of “Olimpiakos” and “Paratinaikos” do not love Ketsbaia, because he was playing in "AEK", but fans of “AEK” still adore Ketsbaia. Here is common to hate. Rivaldo also was hated by fans of”Olimpiakos” when he started playing in “AEK”.
