Luka Hufnagel Joins “Ingolshtadt”

Luka Hufnagel who has German father and Georgian mother was transferred to “Ingolshtadt” (U-19) from “Bayern” (U-17). He has chance of playing in doubles or even in the main team in the upcoming season if coaches like his playing. Hufnagel has already joined “Ingolshtadt” and trains with the team.  Luka was five years old when he started playing in children’s team of “Bayern” and since that time he has not changes the club, but the time has come. Hufnagel played for Georgian National U-17 Team and he is candidate of National U-19 Team. He has singed three-year agreement with “Ingolshtadt”, but according to the agreement he can leave the team in six months.
“Ingolshtadt” competes in II Bundesliga and took the 14th place in the previous season. Inolshtadt is very close to Munich. Luka had several offers from other German clubs but firstly he is still at school (17-year-old) and for him was not suitable to move far from Munich and secondly “Ingolshtadt” showed bigger wish than other German teams that’s why Hufnagel preferred this club. Luka’s former club (“Bayern” U-17) took the fourth place in Bundes Liga and lost chance of championship.
Last year in October Luka Hufnagel got Georgian passport and his as well as his parents (Cristian Hufnagel and Pikria Aptsiauri) wish was him to play for Georgian National U-17 Team. He participated in all matches of Elite-Round and qualifying round of European Championship.
