Georgian freestyle wrestling team successfully competed in Kiev international tournament where the team won 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals. Davit Marsagishvili (84) became triumph of the tournament. In final Marsagishvili defeated Magomed Zubairov of Russia. Olympic silver medal winner Vladimer Khinchegashvili (60) took the second place at this tournament. In the final he lost to Vasil Fedorishin. Elizbar Odikadze (96) won silver medal too. He lost to Albert Saritov of Russia. Bronze medal winner of European and World Championships Davit Khutsishvili (74) took the third place. Young Geno Petriashvili wrestled for bronze medal but finally, he took the fifth place.

Winners gained 10000-10000 USD, the second-placed – 5000-5000 USD, the third-placed – 2000-2000 USD.
