Little Chance

 

 

In the seventh round of World Team Chess Championship, Georgian national women’s chess team lost with Chine 1:3 and as a result chance of taking any prize place reduced. Georgian chess players own 8 points and according to the additional points, they are in the 6th place among 10 participant teams.
Nana Dzagnidze and Salome Melia played draws against China, Bela Khotenashvili lost with white pieces and Lela Javakhishvili with black pieces.
China keeps the maximum results and supposedly will win gold medal, India and Russia are to win silver and bronze medals, as for other participants Ukraine, Vietnam and Georgia has the same amount of points. In the 8th round Georgians play against India and in case of failure, they loose theoretical chance of winning medal. In the next round, distinguished matches are to be held between Ukraine-China and Armenia-Vietnam.
