Varlam Liparteliani member of Georgian Judo national team became champion in 90 kg weight category at Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and gained 200 rating points. On the decisive day of the tournament another Georgian became prize winner- Zviad Khanjaliani won bronze medal. Liparteliani beat five opponents till becoming champion. In final match he managed to take revenge over Markus Niman of Sweden, who beat Georgian sportsman at European championship last year. Before final fight, Khanjaliashvili beat three rivals.

Today, Adam Okruashvili wrestled in heavy weight category but lost in the first circle with Dutch Luk Verbij. Georgian team does not represent sportsman in 100 kg weight category. Georgian team took the fourth place and the top three is the following: South Korea, Japan and Holland.
