Levan Kobiashvili midfielder of Georgian National Team and “Hertha” Berlin mentioned in a talk with “Sport Express” that Felix Magath is one of the best specialists who he had ever worked with. Magath is one of the candidates for the head coach of “Dinamo” Moscow.
Levan Kobiashvili: “I do not like talking about coaches but Magath is one of the best specialists who I had ever worked with”.
- You left “Schalke” when he was head coach of it.
- At that time was changed whole team, but it was not Magath’s desire. Just it was politics of the club to change the main staff. He did not say anything to me – I left the club on my own way because I knew that would not stay in the club for a long time. I do not think so that Magath will leave for “Dinamo” Moscow, but if it happens team’s progress is guaranteed.
- Magath has acquaintances in “Dinamo” Moscow.
- They know that he is strong specialist as for his personality.. It is difficult task.
- Is it true that Magath can prepare players physically in perfect way?
- Players in the teams, where he was working were always physically well prepared.  Because he makes players sweat much.  But if you want to succeed you have to do your best. I studied much while was working with him during 6 months.
- Magath uses heavy balls during training…
- It is true, he likes it very much. Players do special training with hands as well as with legs with heavy balls. I have never had such training with other coaches as I had with Magath.
- According to common opinion he is good coach but has difficult character..
- It is doubtful that he is one of the best specialists in Germany, but he is quite difficult person. For example I did not have personal relations with him as well as 90 % of the team. Then Magath was working as head coach as well as manager of “Schalke”.
- What will be his reaction if he sees old stadium in some provinces of Russia, which needs repair? Or good salary will overweight it?
- To my mind he is quite well-off, because he had well-paid job in “Schalke”. As far as I know for him is important when the club is prospective, for example going through Champions League. As for old stadiums it was not problem for Hrebik too. I want to say it again that to my mind he will not accept this offer but if he does, in such case the club will have progress.
