The meeting of managers of Georgian Wrestling Federation and Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs lasted about 3 hours at the ministry. Zaza Turmanidze, Nugzar Skhireli and Tamaz Bendianishvili, former head coach of freestyle wrestling team, the national team and age teams, left the meeting the first. They called this negotiations absurd theatre and mentioned that their opinion was not considered. Luka Kurtanidze, president of the federation, made absolutely different comment. He offered the former head coaches to participate in new plans of the federation.

Levan Kipiani, minister of Sport, told journalists:

“Sport is a live mechanism. There are some unforeseen moments which the ministry must settle and not to interfere. Kazarashvili did not attend today’s meeting but I will meet him. But I hope this problem will be fixed without me. The federation has a plan and as I see, there is an ideal situation in the team. The ministry supports the plan of Luka Kurtanidze”.

Revaz Mindorashvili will head freestyle wrestling team till the end of the year. Giorgi Gogshelidze will head youth team and Shako Bedinidis – cadets.
