Levan Kipiani minister of Sports and Youth Affairs is strongly against involvement of politics in sport policy. Minister said about it in a talk with workmates.
“Everyone knows that sport was politicized. While I am a minister I will not allow anyone to make decisions according to political reasons. Sport must be get free from these pincers, it must be absolutely independent and it will be essential prerequisite of success. The time of appointing people in advance has finished. So, everyone who has desire to participate in presidential elections can settle his candidate. He should not be afraid of unhealthy competition”-stated Levan Kipiani.
