Georgian national volleyball team took the second place in Group A at “Challenge Trophy” 2012 and is left beyond the final. Georgian volleyball players defeated England and host Ireland 31:25 and 37:21 but lost the decisive match to Faroe Islands 21:23.

Irakli Chikovani was the best players of Georgian team in the previous matches. He scored 27 goals.

Faroe Islands from Group A won a right to compete in the final. The team won all three matches. Next year, on January 21, Faroe Islands will play against Moldova from Group B for the title of champion.
