Leader Injured and Lost with Big Point Difference

 

Georgian U-18 National Basketball Team held the second match against Ukrainian U-18 National Team and in compare with the first match lost with solid difference – 72:100.
Like the first match Georgian team lost the first quarter 14:28. In spite of bad start Georgian team managed to mobilize and equalized in the second quarter. But then one of the leaders of the team Irakli Mikeladze injured and stopped playing. Ukrainians used it and advanced with 13 points before break. Soon they increased their points, as a result of gaining 5-5 personal fouls Beka Nadiradze and Davit Kordzadze left the pitch. Decisive match between Georgian and Ukrainian team is to be held today, in the evening. After that Georgian team will come back and will start preparation for qualifying round of European Championship.
European Championship is to start on July 21-31 in the city of Bulgaria, Varna. Rivals of Georgia team in the first sub-group stage are the following teams: Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria and Luxemburg. Two teams go through the Elite A division.
