On July 28 an athlete Lasha Ghulelauri gained silver medal at European Youth Olympic Festival which is underway in the city of Turkey, Trabzon. Ghulelauri jumped over 15.49meters and Swiss sportsman who took the first place won him with one centimeter.

 After qualifying jumping, 12 athletes went through the final stage and there were three leaders – Georgian, Swiss and French. Finally Swiss athlete became champion and Lasha Ghulelauri brought silver medal to Georgian delegation.
