Lado Varzelashvili minister of Sport and Youth Affairs made official statement about incident in Tokyo Wrestling World Championship. Olympic and World Champion Irakli Tsirekidze made leave tournament.
Varzelashvili leaves for Tokyo on September 10. But it is already known that minister will answer in sever way he who is guilty in this case.
Lado Varzelashvili:” I leave for Japan for attendance to the tournament. I have already talked by mobile Gia Natsvlishvili president of Olympic Committee and headquarter of Judo Federation. As they informed us, coaches and federation made some mistake. They forget to warn sportsman to start participation. At this time Tsrekidze was preparing in training hall, meanwhile his surname was announced three times and no one would forgive him to be late.

After coming back in Tbilisi we will clear up all details and will punish guilty. Such facts should be finished. Government does its best to help sport and especially for Olympic kinds of sports. Nowadays finance of Judo Federation is highest, so its naturally that we demand maximum to this federation”.
