Kvatsbaia Fights to Win the Second Tournament in a Row

Georgian Sopo Kvatsabaia and Croatian Maria Abramovic who won doubles tournament (10 000 USD) in the city of France, Lyon, are fighting to win the second tournament in a row.

Georgian and Croatian tennis players started participation in Dijon tournament (10 000 USD) from ¼ final and celebrated victory – they beat Ukrainian Latysheva and American Vranov-Brown 6:0, 6:0.

In the semifinal, Kvatsabaia and Abramovic played against Georgians Ana Jikia and Tatia Mikadze and beat No.4 seed duet 7:5, 6:0. In the final, Goergian-Croatian duet will play against Czech players Borecka and Krejsova.

Magda Okruashvili and Japanese Osaka lost against No.4 seed American-Latvian duet (Couts-Dekmeijere) 2:6, 0:6 in doubles tournament (25 000 USD) which is underway in Clearwater (USA).

Nikoloz Basilashvili and Russian Bakalov (No.4 seed) lost against Romanians (Daescu-Gard) in ¼ final of McAllen tournament (15 000 USD) which is underway in Texas (USA).
