Fixing of qualifying match of European Championship between Georgian and Spanish youth national teams in Kutaisi made happy local football fans. It is long time since Kutaisi has not hosted any official match. Local fans did not miss opportunity of meeting Spanish players, they met them at the airport and took photos. Photo-session lasted at “Bagrat-1003” hotel, where Spanish delegation is staying at. After dinner, players walked around the city and saw all the sightseengs of renovated town. Hosts went to stadium for training at 19:00 o’clock. In 10 minutes after starting the training representatives of Spanish team excused Georgian journalists and asked for leaving arena.  

Spanish team had closed training and it lasted about an hour. After ending the training Luis Milia head coach of the team agreed Georgian journalists for giving a little interview.

“I liked most of all that there is a good lawn at the stadium and desirable weather. We can play well at such stadium. Very difficult match is ahead us. Georgia is a serious rival, which was proved against Croatia. There are talented players in the team. It is our first match. Starting the tournament well is very important, that’s why we will fight for the victory. Every player is in good physical condition and we have hope of success”- stated Luis Milia.
After this Georgian appeared at the stadiums with local fans, who were carrying flags, posters and were yelling “Georgia-Georgia”. Before starting the training Otar Gabelia head coach of the team gave a little interview:” Kutaisi is not a strange city for me. I used to play football here and was working as a coach. Football is loved in Kutaisi, that’s why I am sure that we will have big support here. To my mind, a lot of people will attend this match for supporting us. Guys are determined. Tomorrow I will name the main staff.
Spain is a very strong football country and its latest results prove it. Youth team is the current European champions. So, no need of saying anything. But everything is changeable in football. I cannot say that Croatia is worse team than Georgian one, but we managed to beat them on expanse of devotion. The main is wish, nothing is unreachable. I am sure that my players will do their bests for victory”.
