Sophiko Khukhashvili (2408) won chess tournament held in the city of Iran, Mashhad. Sophiko was No.1 seed at the tournament and reached success convincingly. In 9 rounds Khukhashvili gathered 7,5 points and overtook her competitor with a point. Georgian men chess players unsuccessfully competed at the same tournament. Akaki Shalamberidze (2330) gained 8.0 points in 11 rounds and took the 10^th place. As for bachana Morchiashvili (2372) he took the 45^th place with 6.0 points. Armen Pashikyan (2608) of Armenia became champion of men’s tournament with 9.0 points.
