Keyon Carter 23-year-old American legionary of basketball club “Dinamo” gained 31points and rebounded 18 last Saturday and was named as the best player of the round. In spite of his excellent playing “Dinamo” could not win. The club lost the fourth match in a row in Georgian championship, but young American hopes that they will be lucky in the future. “World Sport” met Keyon at training base of “Dinamo”:
- What do you think about Georgia and why did you choose playing here?
- I always wonder how Europe was. It is cold here, but there are brilliant dishes and friendly people, that’s why I like Georgia.
- You mentioned delicious dishes, which one is your favorite?
- My favorite is Nanuli’s (chief cook of “Dinamo”) omelette with cheese, meet and vegetables.
- Do you like your conditions of life?
- Yes, I do. There are all life conditions which I had in America. Chief-cook Nanuli who cooks brilliant dishes and takes care of me, training gym is also here. I can eat and train whenever I want (Keyon lives at “Dinamo” training base).
- Do you have private driver?
- No, I do not. But my manager and teammates are very good and if I want to go somewhere, I can ask them and they will take me.
- What were your demands before arrival here?
- My demand were to have internet and a cook, Internet for signing in Facebook, for talking with my family members and a cook, because I cannot cook. They satisfied both these two demands. I have a cook, internet and very good salary.
- Have you visited any sightseeing?
- For me Tbilisi is sightseeing, it is very big and beautiful city. I did not expect it to be such big. It is the biggest city, where I have ever lived. I want to know Georgian very much, because it is very difficult language and cannot understand anything.
- Did you arrive alone in Georgia?
- Sometimes I prefer to be alone. I will visit my family members at New Year’s holiday. 
- On Saturday you were named as the best player of the round. What about it?
- It was good match. I was very active, because I was determined to win. I shot many times and at the end of the match I was top-scorer.
- You were beating TSSU with 9 points, but finally you lost. What was the reason?
- Our team is newly staffed, we need time to adapt each other and they we will achieve our goals.
- What is your goal for this championship?
- Our goal is winning matches and beating “Armia”, because it is a good team and has a lot of fans.
- Have you played anywhere, besides America?
- No, I have not. Georgia is the first country, where I arrived for playing. I graduated from my university this year.
- What do you like most of all in basketball – block-shot, score or shot? ..  
- I like gaining points and rebounds. I like when I am active and try to be the best in any component.  I like to watch how Kobe Bryant drops the ball in basket.
- What are your advantages and disadvantages in basketball?
- I need practice in many things. For example, I have weak left hand, I can use it but not in such way as I want. I am good at rebounds and defense.
