It is pleasant to see this photo. Jaba Kankava is training and he can play now. 24-year-old center midfielder of "Dnipro" Dnipropetrovsk, will be a great strength for Georgian national team. According to public opinion, Kankava is the best Georgian center midfielder.
He is trained by a good coach. Spanish Juande Ramos is head coach of "Dnipro". While Ramos was coaching "Sevilla", the club won UEFA Cup twice (2006, 2007).
Kankava had injury. He was operated on toe twice. Operation carried out in Tbilisi was unsuccessful and the player had to leave for Germany. Jaba has not played for more than 9 months. Last time we saw him in the national team was in March 2008 when team of Klaus Toppmöller lost a friendly match against Northern Ireland 1:4 in Belfast. That match was the last for Klaus Toppmöller in Georgian team.
