Georgian tennis player Oksana Kalashnikova overcame the first round of the Ankara tournament (Turkey, 50 000 USD) easily. Oksana defeated No.6 seed Chiara Scholl of America 6:4, 6:0.

In 1/8 final the Georgian girl will play against Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan. In case of victory, Oksana will earn 24 ranking points. She has guaranteed 12 points now.

Kalashnikova has successful start in doubles too. Oksana and Mervana Jugic-Salkic of Bosnia-Herzegovina are No.1 seed duet. They beat Romanian Dulgheru and Luxembourger Minella 6:4, 6:2.  In ¼ final they will play against Belarusians – Kremen and Marozava who won over Ekaterine Gorgodze of Georgia and Pashkova of Russia 6:2, 7:6 (7:4).
