Kaladze Made One Beautiful Day for Oncological Patients

Kakha Kaladze, captain of Georgian national football team, who is also president of "Kala Foundation" visited about 20 young patients at Andro Gvamichava Oncological hospital near Lisi Lake in Tbilisi. Along with Kaladze, Temur Ketsbaia visited children who are ill with cancer.
Kaladze gave presents to children on behalf of charitable foundation. In greeting speech of the guest, parents of the Oncological patients were told that "Kala Foundation" would include their deposits with 500 GEL in "Progressbank" on September 6.
"This is the first private action when businessman helped our patients. Children oncology and its financing (diagnostics and treatment) is priority for our country. But from the celebrity such step is welcomed", - mentioned general director of Oncological center, professor Revaz Gagua.
Every year about 200 children are ill with cancer. Now only 20 children are undergoing a course of intensive care. Since 2008 "Kala Foundation" has been holding actions which considers development and support of sport, education and other social programs. It also collaborates with foreign NGOs as well as with national charitable foundations.
"It is not the first action of the foundation. I believe that these children will be supported in future too. It is important for us to bring up healthy generation. Today's action may not be with large scales but it is done with whole heart and we gave one beautiful day to this children", - told captain of national team to "World Sport".
