"Greetings to all of you,
Today is a very emotional and important day for me, because after 18-year career I am going to announce about my retirement.
I would like to thank, “Millan” and “Genoa”, clubs and authorities of it, who welcomed me in Italy, all the members of these clubs, my friends and many opponents, who I ever played against and who were with spirit of fair competition. Also thanks to journalists and TV representatives.
I would like to thanks a lot to fans, who used to support and encourage me. I always tried to do my best for my team
According to all this, my heart always will be here, in Italy about. I will always remember these amazing and brilliant memories, which I had in Italy.
I decided to retire from sport, which played a big role in my formation as a person. It is time to give space to young generation, who should manage to progress. I decided to fight for my homeland and people’s future welfare, besides tragic moments very few is known about Georgia.
Georgia is a country, where I was born and everything which is valuable for me is in this country. It is a country, where I want my children to grow up and live with other children of the country, according to their aspirations and possibilities as it happens in democratic countries”.
