Kacheishvili was a Half Point behind Sokolov

 

 

Giorgi Kacheishvili (2605) has the best result among other Georgian chess players who were competing at international chess tournament, which was underway in Philadelphia. In 9 rounds he gained 6.5 points, Kachrishvili was 0.5 point behind Ivan Sokolov (Holland, 2676) who took the first place.
Besides Kacheishvili another chess player also has 6.5 points, but Giorgi took the fifth place according to his additional points and as a result gained 1 484 USD from prize money. Mikheil Kekelidze (2494) won 636 USD, he earned 6.0 points, as for Tamaz Gelashvili (2604) he took the 21st place with 5.5 points.
Levan Aroshidze (2580) played draw with Alexey Fernandes (2427, Cuba) with white pieces in the fifth round of Spanish Barbera Dell Vales tournament. He is in the 8th place with 3.5 points. In the sixth round Aroshidze plays against Arian Gonzales (2452, Cuba) with black pieces. 9 rounds will be held in Barbera Del Valles and champion will win 1 500 EUR.
As far as you know International tournament XXXII OPEN INTERNACIONAL DE AJEDREZ DE BENASQUE is underway in Spanish Huesca. 4 rounds were held at this tournament. 15 chess players advance and among them is Giorgi Margvelashvili (2552). Tornike Sanikidze (2596) is in the 20th place with 3.5 points, Konstantine Shanava (2578) is in the 32nd place with 3.0 points. 10 rounds will be held at Huesca tournament and winner will earn 4 000 EUR.
Inga Charkhalashvili (2324) win international chess tournament named after Christina Holui-Radzikowska, which was underway in the capital of Poland, Warsaw.  In 9 rounds she gained 7.0 points, Nino Batsiashvili (2434) took the second place. Sofio Gvetadze (2337) took the fifth place with 4.5 points.
As for Dubai Chess Festival, Giorgi Sibashvili (2033) champion of Georgian (U-14) gained 8.0 points in 9 rounds and Volodimir Vteoshcko (Ukraine) champion of the tournament overtook him only with additional points.
Nino Khomeriki (1945) many times champion of Georgia gained 7.0 points and won bronze medal. Ana Teodishvili (1543) took the 12nd place with 6.5 points, Mariam Mzhavia (1463) took the 70th place with 4.5 points.
