At European championship, ongoing in Croatia, members of Georgian national junior judo team added two 2 silver and one bronze medals to two medals, gained yesterday.
In the decisive match, Phridon Gigani (73kg) and Beka Ghviniashvili (81kg) lost chance of becoming European champion. In the final fight Gigani lost with Pole Damian Zvanovits and Ghviniashvili lost with Alexios Ntanatsidis member of Greek national team. In 73 weight category, Levan Gugava took the third place. In repechage final, he won over Igor Potparic.
Today. Beka Doghvani also wrestled, but he stayed beyond the tournament, at the beginning of it. Tomorrow, Georgian wrestlers will start competition in the left weight categories. In 90 kg weight category Lasha Tavaeluri and Rezo Tsulukidze will wrestle, in 100 kg Guram Tushishivili and Giorgi Kavtaradze will wrestle and in heavy weight Levan Matiashvili and Rostom Khakhaleishvili will compete.
