As it was expected, Eduardo Cresp Memorial ended up with victory of Baadur Jobava (2678). No.1 seed Georgian Grand Master earned 8.5 points in 9 rounds and became champion.

Jobava played draw against Vladimir Malaniuk of Ukraine (2504) in the eighth round. In the decisive round, Jobava defeated David Alberto of Holland (2597) and won 1000 EUR with special cup. Malaniuk who took the second place earned 6.5 points. Another Ukrainian Vadim Shishkin took the third place with 6.0 points.
