Janelidze will Play in "Skonto"


A 20-year old Georgian forward Davit Janelidze who is playing in Latvian "Olimps" was transfered to the most titled club of this country "Skonto" Riga. Aleksandre Rekhviashvili, director of "Olimps" and former midfielder of Georgian national team, stated in the conversation with "World Sport" that "Skonto" was going to sign contract with Janelidze for 3 years but finally, he will play in "Skonto" on loan till the end of the season (champion is held in Spring-Autumn). Both sides will discuss the future collaboration in winter.
Janelidze played 11 matches in "Olimps" in the current season (8 matches in main staff, one - on change, two- he was changed) and scored 3 goals. He will play with number 24 in new club. His debut will be on August 22 when "Skonto" will hold a match of the 16th round with "Blazma".
Also Davit Janelidze has played in Georgian "Ameri" and "Zestaponi". Last year he spent in Latvian "Tranzit" and then was transfered to "Olimps".
