On Tuesday “Metalist” Kharkiv was awarded with bronze medals of Ukrainian Premier League. At awards’ ceremony were invited former leaders of the club. According to “World Sport” information there were 10 top players of the club among them was Georgian forward Lasha Jakobia.
30-year-old Jakobia was considered as one of the most prospective forwards several years ago, he held 13 matches in National Team and scored one goal.Injuries were very common for his career and that’s why he could not manage to show his potential.

In 2004-2009 Lasha was playing for “Metalist” and was captain of the club. During this period he was playing for “Arsenal” on a loan. Jakobia spent last months of his career in “Spartak” Tskhinvali.  

 As far as we know Jakobia wants to continue playing in Ukraine again and it is not excluded Georgian player to continue career in “Obolon” Kiev. “Obolon” competes at Premier League.
