Otar Martsvaladze, forward of Georgian national team, left “Volga” and transferred to “Krasnodar”. On July 3, Otar will join “Krasnodar” where Aleko Amisulashvili will meet him.
“I love and appreciate fans of “Volga”. They always supported me. Nizhny Novgorod became my hometown. “Krasnodar” offered me better conditions. It is life and I am leaving. Friendship with the management of “Volga” and teammates will continue”, - stated Otar.
Martsvaladze scored 5 goals in Premier League. Martsvaladze is a great loss for “Volga”.
As for “Krasnodar”, the club is in the 9th place after 16 rounds. Though, Russian specialists think the club has more potential and perhaps “Krasnodar” will be among best 8 teams.
Martsvaladze started playing in “Wit Georgia”. In 2006, he transferred to “Dinamo” Kiev. He had many injuries in Kiev and could not play there. In 2009, Martsvaladze transferred to “Anzhi” Makhachkala. Last year, he started playing for “Volga”.
