Georgian top seed Anna Tatishvili had difficult fight against Italian Alberta Bianti at Luxembourg Open (prize money 220 000 USD). Three-set match lasted two hours and five minutes and finished in favor of Brianti – 3:6, 6:1, 3:6.
21-year-old Tatishvili shoed big resistance against 31-year-old Italian tennis player, who is No.73 seed in the world and even managed to win the second set. The third set also was equal, but finally Brianti managed to win the match.
Anna stays in Luxembourg and starts participation in double tournament of BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open. Tatishvili and Slovenian Andrea Klepach will play against Greek-German duet.
