If German Football Association’s disciplinary panel punishes Levan Kobiashvili with one-year disqualification, Kobiashvili will not be able to play at any championship till May 16, 2013.
Revaz Shengelia, manager of general secretariat of Georgian Football Federation, informed “World Sport” with this information:
“According to FIFA rules, if player is disqualified at the championship of one country and he wants to move to other country, former football federation must inform future football federation about his disqualification. According to FIFA rules, transfer of the player will not be held. When it comes to transfers, decision of FIFA is decisive. If player has 3 or 5-match disqualification in one country, he will have a right to play in other country after the disqualification expires”.
German Football Association’s disciplinary panel gave Kobiashvili one-year disqualification. Though, Berlin edition morgenpost.de informs that the mentioned panel will make a final decision next week. Kristof Shikhardt, lawyer of Georgian football player, is trying to avoid Kobiashvili disqualification but there is no chance of it.
