Hosts with a Good Chance

 

European Youth Chess Championship continues at Sports Palace named after Zurab Sakandelidze and Mikheil Korkia in Kutaisi. Today, young chess players held the fifth round and possible future prize winners have already been found out.  Reps of Georgia have chance of victory in each age category. Situation is the following:
U8. boys: Nikoloz Kacharava – 5 points, Nikoloz Kevlishvili – 4,5,Nikoloz Rusadze, Saba Lomsadze, Giorgi Lominadze  (all of them from Georgia), Akhmad Akhmazade, Sadig Garaev (both of them from Azerbaijan), Ovanes Mlrtichyan (Armenia) - 4-4;
U8. girls: Nia Doghvani - 5, Lile Gumberidze, Diana Lomaia (three of them from Georgia), Nadezhda Khachatryan (Armenia)-4-4;

U10. boys: Abdula Kadimbeil (Axerbaijan) – 5, Artem Trubchaninov(Russia) – 4,5, Sadig Mamadov (Azerbaijan),Davit Kamkia, Nikoloz Petriashvili, Anton Nadiradze (three of them from Georgia) – 4-4;

 

U10.  girls: Anastasia Sidamonidze (Georgia), Zeinab Ismailzade (Azerbaijan) – 4,5-4,5; Tamar Esadze, Tamar Lagazauri (both of them from Georgia) -4-4;
U12. boys: Guram Kokaia (Georgia) - 4,5, Ashot Parvanyan (Armenia),Timur Trubchaninov (Russia), Koka Bukia, Nikoloz Tsomaia, Irakli Akhvlediani (three of them from Georgia) -4-4;
U12. girls: Nino Jalaghonia – 4,5, Mariam Tsamalashvili (both of them from Georgia) - 4, Gvantsa Margvelashvili (Georgia), Mariam Avetisyan, Ani Ivanyan (two of them from Armenia) – 3,5-3,5.
The sixth round starts at 15.00 o’clock, on July 11.
