Another qualifying round of European tournaments ended up and three Georgian clubs are fighting for playing at the group tournament of Champions and Europa Leagues. “Zestafoni” lost in Chisinau but won in Imereti region. Other clubs won but victory of “Gagra” was just symbolic. “Dinamo” beat “Llanelli” thanks to goals of legionaries. “Metallurg” overcame the Kazakh obstacle and will have the strongest opponent among Georgian clubs.

Let us start from the beginning. Champion of Georgia did not have a weak opponent. Igor Dobrovolski, head coach of “Dacia”, let seven legionaries play in the Zestafoni match. After a fatal result, he made 5 changes.

Fortunately, everything ended up with American “happy end” - “Zestafoni” lost 0:2 but went through the third round where the club will play against champion of Austria “Sturm”.

 The most titled club of Georgia celebrated historical victory. “Dinamo” beat Welsh “Llanelli” 5:0.

It is known that all three clubs will hold home matches at the “Boris Paichadze” national stadium in Tbilisi.

Another Georgian club “Gagra” won its match on Thursday. “Anorthosis” beat Georgians 3:0 in Cyprus and lost 0:2 in Zestafoni.
