Supposedly Georgian top seed Anna Tatishvili held the best set in her career in the first circle of “Ronald Garros” which is underway in France. She won the first set over French tennis player Marion Bartoli who is the in the 11st place in ranking (6:1), but finally Tatishvili lost 6:1, 2:6, 1:6.
As it has already mentioned Tatishvili played the first set without any mistake and she showed big resistance during 31 minutes against her rival, who was considered as favorite in this match. At the beginning of the second set Anna advanced 2:1 and she had chance of making sensation, but 21-year-old Georgian tennis player had not enough strength to beat experienced rival.
Bartoli started playing more agressivly, spectators also gave big support to their compatriot and it caused relevant result. Finally Bartoli won the match 6:1, 2:6, 1:6.
This match can be estimated satisfying for Tatishvili. It was the first time when Tatishvili was in the main wrap at Grand Slam and her final result was quite good. We hope that Tatishvili who is in the 106th place in ranking will improve her playing more time by time.
