“Sioni” Bolnisi ended up procedure of finding a new partner. Company “Madneuli” will not be general sponsor of the team anymore. Local budget of Bolnisi will finance “Sioni”.

Soso Laliashvili (chairman of Bolnisi Municipality): “As you know, the team is in the last place of the tournament schedule. That is why we decided that FC “Sioni” Bolnisi would become property of Municipality. Changes will be made in budget 2012 and we will finance the team. “Sioni” will be financed with 600 000 GEL till May. I will not hide that we want “Sioni” to stay in Supreme League. In future we will fight for higher goals”.

According to the governor, manager of “Sioni” will take responsibility for the team. Levan Bajelidze will coach the team again.

“World Sport” has already written about those players who left “Sioni”. Lasha Kemukhtashvili returned to “Torpedo”. Former players of “Sioni” – Giorgi Rekhviashvili, Giorgi Kutsurua and Valeri Bolkvadze signed 5-year contract with “Torpedo”.

Only three new players are known yet. “Kolkheti” stated that Mindia Bobghiashvili returned to “Sioni”. Besides that, Saba Lomia from “Zestafoni” and 26-year-old Giorgi Khidesheli who returned from Finland are named as new players of “Sioni”.
