A 19-year-old Georgian tennis player Ekaterine Gorgodze won 8 matches in a row and is fighting to win the second Mallorca tournament (10 000 USD) in Spain.
Gorgodze celebrated another victory in the match against Venezuelan Andrea Gamiz. In ¼ final match, Gorgodze lost only two games and finally, she won 6:1, 6:1.
In the semifinal, No.4 seed a 18-year-old Lara Arruabarrena-Vecino (Spain) will be her opponent. Lara is in the 326th place at Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
Gorgodze is in the 625th place, though, points gained last week have not been added to her results.
