For two weeks Ekaterine Gorgodze and Sopho Kvatsabaia have won 2 doubles tournament. Our duet first won German tournament and yesterday won final match of double tournament (prize money 10 000 USD), which was in the city of Holland, Enschede. As a result they won the main prize.

Our compatriots convicingly went through the final and in the decisive match beat host duet (Kilsdonk-van Uitert). Georgian duet won the first set 6:$, lost the second one 1:6 and it was neccesary to hold tie-break. In the decisive match Gorgodze and Kvatsabaia mobilied and beat hosts 10:6.
Sopho Kvatsabnaia and Ekaterine Gorgodze participated at the single tournament of this competition. Kvatsabaia (No.3 seed) overcame tree rounds and lost only semi-final match with Belgium Eline Boikens. As for Gorgodze, Ekaterine lost 1/8 final match.
