Today Georgian youth judokas after returning from European Cup which was underway in Turkey held the training in Judo Academy named after Shota Chochishvili. The training was held special for journalists by Judo Federation. Participants of this training were only from members of Tbilisi team. According to preliminary plan Lado Vadzelashvili Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia had to visit them but he did not.

On March 19-20 Georgian sportsmen won 14 medals (5 golden, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals) at European Cup which was underway in the city of Turkey, Antalya. Head coach of Georgian team has chosen those sportsmen for the upcoming International tournaments, but he has not named them yet. 
- After finishing Georgian Championship you stated that was waiting much more from sportsmen. Did you change mind after successful competing in Turkey?
- I am really very satisfied with result, their determination is worth mentioning. They did their best. But in spite of this I do not want to make wrong decisions. It is difficult to decide anything with one competition.
- Was it strong tournament?
- Besides Russian team 14 national teams participate at this competition and each country represented the best main staff there. 
- Who was distinguished among Georgian sportsmen?
- Most of them have never competed abroad and for many of them debut was difficult, but some of the debutants succeeded. So, that’s why I will not mention anyone’s wrestling. These guys need participation at foreign tournaments as air for developing their career. We have to give them chance of participation at many foreign tournaments and as a result experience and good result is guaranteed.
- In ten days Kiev hosts Youth European Cup. Will you represent their expanded team again?
- Supposedly we will leave for Kiev with 12-13 sportsmen. We would take more players but in relates to much expense.
- Team is to be staffed with Antalya champions, is not it?
- We will take European champions in Ukraine in any case, but I cannot name them yet.
- Will you take Antalya and Kiev’s results under consideration for European Championship?
- Before European championship two Georgian championships are planned, so I will make my mind after these 4 tournaments. I am not hurry in naming the main staff yet.
- When you plan to gather candidates of team?
- On April will be held the first meeting for European championship in Bakuriani. I will play the most attention to physical preparation. Then I will gather sportsmen in Dusheti and Gori.
