Giorgi Vazagashvili, coach of Georgian judo team, is waiting for presidential elections of Judo Federation. The situation became tense when Betkil Shukvani, member of the team, and coach Lasha Gujejiani had quarrel. After his incident Irakli Tsirekidze, head coach of the team, with assistants Gujejiani and Vazagashvili visited editorial office of newspaper “Lelo” and gave a scandalous interview. “World Sport” published comment of Betkil Shukvani. Now we took an interview from Giorgi Vazagashvili.

-         I do not want to talk and even remember this issue. It is very delicate issue and it will not be useful for Georgian judo to deal with it.

-         But you visited editorial office of newspaper “Lelo” to talk about this issue…

-         I do not want to talk about this issue. I will just say I made harmless comment. I highlighted that I am against domestic contradistinction. I do not want the team to split in two.

-         You mentioned presidential elections which has two candidates. That interview showed that coaches will elect one candidate openly…

-         I do not support any side. I do not talk about my opinion even while parliamentary elections. I worked hard. I do not want to worry about anything except my work. If anybody tries to make me support him, I will quit my job and stay at home. I do not like that this everything leaves borders of sport. I believe everything will be alright after November 26.

-         How? Loser side will be dissatisfied after the elections.

-         Of course, but I am sure nothing serious will happen. The situation will become normal.
