On Sunday, “Dinamo” Tbilisi won a match of principle over “Torpedo” Kutaisi and improved the tournament situation. The team of Alex Garcia defeated the team which has a real chance of becoming champion for the first time.

Giorgi Kakhelishvili, No.9 player of “Dinamo”, held a good match. “World Sport” talked to forward of “Dinamo”:

- It will be awkward to ask about the importance of the match against “Torpedo”. Please, estimate the match.

- It is pleasant that we played so well against “Torpedo”. I think not only “Dinamo” fans but neutral fans would be satisfied with playing quality. We had some unsuccessful matches and we had to stop it. Renewed stadium, new surface of the field, good fans – everything had influence and we congratulate our fans on this victory. When I saw a lot of fans at the stadium I was very happy. It was surprising that so many fans came to the stadium.

- What can you say about your playing?

- Everyone who knows me knows that I am self-critical. I am dissatisfied after all matches. It is my attitude, coaches should estimate.

- Did you expect more from “Torpedo”?

- “Torpedo” is a good team. It has a good coach. “Torpedo” could not play well because we were stronger. We have not played on such level since Europa League.

- In fact, it was final and you will hold the second final soon – in Zestaponi…

- Yes, it was final for us and I will say one thing: we must not be satisfied with this victory. We have a lot of work to do. We need time, nothing happens in two-three months. For example, when Jose Mourinho became coach of “Real” last year, he stated not to demand miracle from him in the first year. Time after time, we got used to each other and play better. As for the match against “Zestafoni”, we are looking forward to it and we will do everything for winning it. We expect a good field, many fans, beautiful playing and victory of “Dinamo”. I want it and let us see…

- “Dinamo” needs victory in Zestaponi. “Zestafoni” is not the team which plays draw at home but…

- I agree with you. I am sure we will do our best to win this match. “Zestafoni” will do the same. We will have a strong opponent and let us see.

- What can you say about the role of Spanish players in “Dinamo”?

- They are good players. I cannot say that only Georgians or only Spanish players do everything. We got used to each other well. Xisco is a high class player. He has won UEFA Cup and Spanish Primera. He is a good partner on the field and it is pleasant to play with him.
- Perhaps, you think about playing for the national team. Are ready for it?

- I do not think, I will get in the national team…

- Why?
- I cannot say. It is my dream to play for the national team but I do not know if this dream comes true.
