Like all rounds of Georgian 20th national championship, "World Sport" found it difficult to name the best player this time too. Finally, we chose forward of "Kutaisi-2010" Giorgi Barbakadze and named him as the best player of the round. "Little Wild" (nickname of Giorgi Barbakadze) played during 33 minutes and 10 seconds. He scored 23 points (6 2-point, 3 3-point, 2 penalties), 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2-2 turnover-block and played a great role in winning the team.
Mikheil Panchulidze (TSU) and his teammate Buba Berishvili were opponents of Giorgi Barbakadze for the title of the best player of the round. Panchulidze collected 35 points in the match between "Batumi" and TSU and showed the best result in the current championship. Berishvili scored the most points among teammates - 24 points.
There is a question: If Panchulidze and Berishvili collected more points than Barbakadze, why was Barbakadze named as the best player of the round? As TSU was playing against one of the outsiders in this round, "Kutaisi-2010" was playing against one of the leaders, Barbakadze won over Lasha Pargalava in the 4th quarter and played a great role in winning "Kutaisi-2010", that's why "Little Wild" was named as the best player.

- Three quarters were held with challenge advantage in the match against "Sokhumi". What happened in the 4th quarter which you won 27:4?
- Nothing special. We were prepared better than out opponent and we gained victory.
- "Army", one of the best teams of the 20th national championship, has only one loss. The team lost against "Kutaisi-2010". Did you win this match at the expense of better physical preparation?
- "Army" did not participate in Dudu Dadiani Memorial and it was their first official match against us. And that's why the team lost.
- You have two losses (against MIA and "Energy Invest"). What can you say about these matches?
- I will not make comment about the match MIA-Kutaisi-2010". As for the match against "Energy Invest", we could not play well. You cannot play all matches on the same level. I will not be surprised if we will win in Rustavi and take revenge.
- What is program minimum of "Kutaisi-2010"?
- Our program minimum is to play in the semifinal. Future will show everything.
- Which team do not you want to play against in the semifinal?
- I do not want to play against MIA in the semifinal. My brother Davit Barbakadze is playing there. It would be better if brothers met each other in the final.
- Tell us briefly about yourself.
- I was born on April 27, 1989. Height - 201 cm, position - forward. I won silver and bronze medals at Georgian Cup, Super Cup and the national championship.
- "Kutaisi-2010" is a good team but there are some teams which have planned to play in the final. Except "Kutaisi-2010", have you ever had invitation from any other teams?
- Our team was one of the first teams which started preparation for a new season. "Kutaisi-2010" offered me good conditions and I agreed to play in this team.
